Have you
ever tried to see clearly in the twilight? It can be frustrating. We prefer clarity always.
In the dimness, our pupils adjust and we can see
some of the prominent details. If we continue
to wait, we can feel the other senses kicking in to give us more information.
We can hear stillness and the inner voice.
We feel wind, a friend’s mood, our own heartbeat. We can smell the damp
earth with no light at all.
God also enables us to gather the unseen and unusual if
we pursue. He has more for us today… and much more in eternity.
For
we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know
just as I also am known. (1 Cor. 13:12)
