The wind is a hopeful sound. Only IT knows where it is going. The sound of the wind has a voice. It says Trust. Trust what you can’t see. Know that He is faithful no matter what is in front of you.
There is another sound of faith that is joyful. That is the
sound of children laughing and playing. When children laugh and play it is
because they have faith in goodness. Truth, mercy, and justice are near
them. They expect.
Drive by the playground and listen. Go find the wind and notice.
The wind
blows where it wishes, and you hear it’s sound, but you do not know where it
comes from or where it goes. So is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. Jn. 3:8
